I have put together a short anthology for teaching War Poetry with Yr 9. There are outline questions to be addressed after discussion of the poems in class.
The idea is a taste of the development of War Poetry from Southey to Sassoon. The final task, a comparison is designed to mirror the current Edexcel IGCSE form of question.
